Project ECHO University of Utah is pleased to announce a limited series on COVID-19. As information and best practices change on a regular basis, the Project ECHO team will provide updates and valuable insights for community partners. 

Sessions will cover the epidemiological background of COVID-19, best practices for keeping you and staff safe, and information about ongoing clinical trials.

Join Erin A.S. Clark, MD with the department of Maternal-Fetal Medicine with University of Utah Health for a presentation covering updates on pregnancy during COVID-19. Dr. Clark is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah Health. She specializes in managing high-risk pregnancies with a focus on women who have current or previous pregnancy complications, including a history of preterm birth. Join Julie Shakib, DO, MS, MPH and Jill Sweney, MD, MBA for a pediatric update on the topic of MIS-C. Dr. Shakib serves as Medical Director of the Well Baby and Intermediate Care Nurseries at the University of Utah where she cares for patients. Dr. Sweney is an Associate Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Utah and is in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care. She is the Medical Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Primary Children's Medical Center. She also serves on the Primary Children's Hospital Ethics Committee and Ethics consultation team. We hope you can join these providers for their engaging presentation.

2009 – 2017. Rich co-authored with Mike Leavitt the highly-acclaimed book titled Finding Allies, Building Alliances. David Lee is a Director based in Washington, DC. David provides policy counsel and analysis to clients on issues related to regulations, legislation, and business implications. His work is focused on issues related to government payers, including Medicare and Medicaid, health care reform and other provider issues.
