University of Utah Health is pleased to announce an ongoing collaboration with Intermountain Health Center for our Endocrine Care ECHO. This collaboration will help to bridge gaps in care with a further reach as both organizations are committed to furthering education for endocrine needs. Our monthly series connects endocrinology specialists from both organizations to primary care providers in rural and suburban areas. Providers and clinical staff will be taught best practices for the management of diabetes and other endocrine diseases including thyroid disorders and hormone disorders.
Providers will have the opportunity to discuss their complicated patient cases with these specialists, and participate in live, interactive didactics focusing on evidence-based disease management.
The next event will be held on Tuesday, February 14th, 2023, at noon. We encourage adult case submissions at any time to help evolve these discussions. Please note, that the session topic does not restrict the types of cases that can be submitted.
Our next session will be on "Standards of Care in Diabetes 2023 Update" presented by Thomas Clark, MD with Intermountain Healthcare.
