About

The Dermatology for Primary Care ECHO group connects dermatologists to primary care physicians in rural and urban areas via teleconferencing technologies to facilitate an effective "knowledge network." Participants learn about the latest in clinical trends from leading experts in the field. In addition, healthcare professionals have the opportunity to present real life cases and receive feedback from a multidisciplinary team.

Participants are awarded 1.0 hour of ACCME Category CME credit at no cost for each 1.0 hour of live sessions attended. Full instructions for claiming CME are available on the University of Utah CME Website.

ECHO Model

The ECHO learning model features case-based learning. Case presentations allow for a collaborative learning environment where everyone has an opportunity to learn, and everyone has an opportunity to teach. Anyone can submit a case on the topic being presented in the session. If you are having trouble diagnosing a patient or need help determining a treatment plan, you may consider submitting a case.
