The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) section of the University of Utah Department of Emergency Medicine serves the largest patient catchment area in the United States with broad EMS urban and rural coverage throughout Utah and the surrounding states. Support and partnership with the EMS community are also an important part of offering emergency care with the best possible outcomes for patients.
