Continuing Clinical Education for Providers

As the only academic medical center and research institution in the Mountain West, University of Utah Health has a commitment to sharing knowledge and expertise with other health care systems dedicated to improving health care and delivery. Providers and other healthcare personnel can receive online and hands-on training from U of U Health experts, helping them to deliver the best and most current clinical care to their community while still at their local facility.

We facilitate access to the latest information on provider CME opportunities and speaker events that are the nexus of an integrated, comprehensive, individualized, and system-wide approach to provider education.  


Leadership Network


University of Utah Health facilitates collaboration on both administrative and clinical topics for healthcare leaders. Dr. Edward Kimball, the Network Development and Telehealth (ONDT) Medical Director, hosts a monthly meeting to address relevant regional topics.

Project ECHO

University of Utah Health partners with Project ECHO to train providers through HIPAA-compliant, technology-enabled collaborative learning to address specialty health care concerns in the primary care setting.
